The main characteristics of international shipping are low cost and long time, suitable for foreign orders with large shipments.
There are two ways of international shipping:
1. Sea container (CY): one container per ticket or multiple containers per ticket.
2. Sea freight consolidation (CFS): three or more tickets are assembled into one cabinet.
There are several types of containers:
1. 20 feet: the size is 6*2.2*2.3, the theoretical installation is 30 cubic meters, the actual installation is 25-27CBM, 18-23 tons.
2. 20 feet weight: the size is 6*2.2*2.3, the theoretical installation is 30 cubic meters, the actual installation is 25-27CBM, 25-28 tons.
3. 40 feet: The size is 12*2.2*2.3, the theoretical installation is 60 cubic meters, and the actual installation is 55-57CBM, 18-23 tons.
4. 40 feet heightening: the size is 12*2.2*2.8, the theoretical installation is 73 cubic meters, and the actual installation is 68-70CBM, 18-23 tons. The above are the main cabinet types. Others include the less used 45 feet, stool cabinets, open top cabinets, refrigerated cabinets and so on.
The timeliness of international shipping: The timeliness of international shipping is determined by factors such as destination and shipping schedule. For example, to Los Angeles (LA) in the United States, if the boat leaves from Thursday to Saturday, it will arrive in 14 days. If the boat leaves from Friday to Sunday, it will arrive in 11 days. And it is also a US city, and the same boat sails from Friday to Sunday, and it takes 15 days to arrive in Oakland (OAK). For example, Naples (NAPLES) in Italy, if it is a ship departing from Hong Kong from Monday to Tuesday, it will arrive in 18 days. If it is a ship departing from Hong Kong from Friday to Sunday, it will arrive in 21 days. And the same European city, the same boat sails from Friday to Sunday, it takes 25 days to arrive in Barcelona, Spain.
